Establishment of Scientific Laboratories

In light of the establishment of four new departments at our institute and in response to the training needs of our students, aimed at equipping them with the skills necessary for entering the labor market, the Higher Education Fund Board, under the direct guidance of Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, supported our institute in establishing specialized laboratories to meet these needs. Additionally, the classrooms were equipped with the latest devices and furniture to support modern teaching methods.

The newly established laboratories include:

Division of Medical Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy: This laboratory is equipped with a portable laser device, a multi-purpose laser device, an electrical stimulation device for muscles and nerves, an ultrasound device for treating multiple injuries, and a muscle stimulation device.

Division of Radiology and Sonography: This laboratory includes a laser film printing device (radiology and sonography equipment).

Division of Forensic Technology: A laboratory designed for forensic training.

Division of Nursing Technology and Community Health Technology: Both departments have been equipped with a variety of medical devices and medical models used for practical training.

These developments reflect our commitment to providing students with the best possible training resources and preparing them for success in their future careers.
