Voluntary Work by the Staff of Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute for Several Schools in the Center and Districts of the Governorate

Under the direction of Dr. Zaid Ma’in Hassan Al-Dulaimi, the Dean of Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute, a voluntary team from the institute, supervised by Engineer Tawfiq Abadi Taher, Head of the Workshop Unit, along with several division heads, lecturers, and workshop staff, carried out maintenance work for several schools in the center and districts of the governorate. The maintenance tasks included the following:

Rehabilitation of Desks: A total of 600 deskes were completed and restored to service.

General Electrical Maintenance: This involved replacing lighting, switches, main circuit breakers, and establishing new electrical lines.

General Water Maintenance: Included the installation of 4 water pumps, 20 faucets, and 4 water tanks.

Wooden Mobile Libraries: Two mobile wooden libraries and four mobile shelves were constructed.

Maintenance of Split Air Conditioning Units: Three units were serviced.

Repair of Iron Window Frames and Installation of Window Screens.

Engineer Tawfiq Abadi mentioned that these efforts align with the ambitions of the institute’s administration to provide the best community services, fostering cooperation among state institutions and promoting a sense of unity and cohesion among students.

He further added that these campaigns and activities were carried out in six schools located in the center of Al-Diwaniyah Governorate, which included:

Amrli Primary School for Girls

Al-Abed Primary School for Boys

Al-Thaqafa Primary School for Boys

Al-Nile Primary School in Al-Sadir

Zaid Al-Shaheed Primary School in Sudar Al-Dhaghara

Al-Diwaniyah Secondary School for Girls
