
Dean of Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute Visits the Presidency of the University of Al-Qadisiyah to Extend Congratulations

The Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Information Technology Department, organized a symposium titled “The Acceptance of Women in the Technology Sector and Bridging the Gender Gap in Technological and Informational Sciences.”
The symposium was led by M. M. Saadia Kamil, M. M. Ghadeer Ibrahim, and Ms. Rehab Karim, the Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit. It highlighted the importance of women and their role in information technology, addressing the gender gap and launching educational initiatives to encourage girls to enter the fields of technology and artificial intelligence. The event included an interactive session between female students, during which success stories of women in technology were shared, showcasing their creativity and inspiring the students.
This symposium was part of the strategic plan launched by the Women’s Affairs Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research within the economic axis.
