Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Women’s Affairs Unit, organizes an art exhibition for painting.

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Zaid Ma’in Hassan Al-Dulaimi, and as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit at the Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a comprehensive art exhibition. The exhibition featured participation from several lecturers and students, and was attended by the Dean of the Institute, the Administrative vice Dean, as well as a number of professors and students, held in the institute’s gardens.

The exhibition showcased a stunning collection of expressive artworks, including charcoal and pencil drawings, oil paintings, and live sketches created by students and staff. These artworks reflected the cultural and artistic development as well as the intellectual level of the students.

The Dean of the Institute emphasized that the purpose of organizing this exhibition was to highlight and encourage artistic talents, build students’ self-confidence through the displayed art, affirm their personal identity, and foster a spirit of competition among students. Additionally, it aimed to expose the audience to various artistic trends, creative fields, and innovations of the students, while discovering and nurturing artistic talents across different domains, encouraging outstanding students to continue excelling and achieving success.
