A ministerial committee visits Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute.

In accordance with the directives of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, regarding occupational safety procedures, civil defense, and providing a suitable educational environment for students, a committee from the Department of Dormitory Affairs at the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited the dormitories at Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute. The committee included Dr. Qusay Hamed Khalaf, Assistant Lecturer Hilal Mohammed Hamid, Assistant Lecturer Ammar Kamil Sarhan, Assistant Lecturer Riyad Abdul Ali, and Mr. Ibrahim Abbas Ibrahim. They were received by the Institute’s Dean, Professor Dr. Zaid Maan Hassan Al-Dulaimi.

The visiting committee, accompanied by the Dean’s Assistant for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Hashim Yusuf, the student dormitory supervisor, Mr. Abdulshahid Baqir, and Assistant Lecturer Areej Fadhil Kashash, the female dormitory supervisor, was briefed on the measures taken by the Institute regarding the service facilities and maintenance work. The committee reviewed the necessary provisions required for students, including suitable housing, electricity, potable water, air conditioning, restrooms, recreational spaces, and classrooms, to ensure the sustainability of the educational environment.

The visiting committee commended the efforts of the Institute’s Dean, Professor Dr. Zaid Maan Hassan Al-Dulaimi, for his continuous monitoring and unwavering support of the dormitories, which has significantly improved their condition. The committee also expressed its gratitude to the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, the dormitory managers, and the supervisors for their dedicated efforts, wishing them continued success in achieving the goals of academic development.
