Tree planting campaign in support of sustainable development.

As part of the extracurricular activities and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the promotion of sustainable development, environmental improvement, and the increase of green spaces, the Division of Mechanical Technologies at Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute organized a tree planting campaign in the institute’s gardens. The campaign saw the participation of a number of students and staff from the division, under the direct supervision of the Division Head, Dr. Areej Ghazi Abdulshaheed. This activity highlighted the division’s commitment to raising environmental awareness among students and encouraging them to actively contribute to the improvement of the surrounding environment.

The organizers of the campaign emphasized that this initiative aims to strengthen efforts to achieve sustainable development goals, and to demonstrate the role of educational institutions in supporting the environment and providing a sustainable and healthy campus environment.
