Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute holds a celebration on the occasion of the birth of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

Under the patronage of the Dean of the Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Zaid Maen Hassan Al-Dulaimi, and the supervision of the Head of the Division of Materials Management Techniques, Dr. Sadiq Jaafar, lecturers and students of the Division of Materials Management Techniques organized a celebration on the occasion of the birth of the Prophet’s grandson, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), on the 3rd of Sha’ban, corresponding to February 2, 2025.

The event included the recitation of noble verses from the Holy Quran, a speech by the Head of the Division, Dr. Sadiq Jaafar, and Dr. Taher Hamid, a lecturer of the division, who spoke about the importance of reform and how Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) sacrificed everything for the sake of reform in the nation of his grandfather, the Messenger of Humanity, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). The celebration also featured poetry recited by the students, expressing their love for the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
