Division of Criminal Forensics Techniques at the Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute held a course entitled:
“Criminal Policy in the Iraqi Penal Code No. 111 of 1969 (Amended and in Force).”

The course was presented by:
Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Naji Tahir, Head of the Department,
Assistant Lecturer Ali Majid,
and Assistant Lecturer Omaima Farman Nomas.

The course covered several key topics, including:

The concept of criminal policy,

Criminal policy in the current 2005 Iraqi Constitution,

Criminal policy in the principles of the effective Iraqi Penal Code,

Criminal policy in the Iraqi Code of Criminal Procedure No. 23 of 1971 (as amended),

Proposed amendments to the current criminal policy.
