Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute has organized a visit to the Elderly Care Home in Al-Diwaniyah as part of its community engagement initiatives.

As part of its ongoing commitment to community service, and under the guidance of the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Zaid Ma’an Hassan Al-Dulaimi, a delegation from the Division of Materials Management Techniques at Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute conducted a visit to the Elderly Care Home in Al-Diwaniyah.

The delegation included Dr. Wasan Kamel Afouk, Dr. Amouda Ubaid Hussein, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Ghafar Hussein, Assistant Lecturer Sanaa Saad Kadhim, and Assistant Lecturer Iqbal Kamil Awad.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the living conditions and needs of the residents, as well as to provide basic household and food supplies. The visiting delegation also pledged to arrange regular, voluntary visits in the future as part of their ongoing support for this important segment of society.

Such visits are regarded as both a humanitarian and moral obligation shared by all members of the community.
