Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute organized a scientific visit to the Directorate of Statistics in Al-Diwaniyah.

The Division of Insurance Techniques at Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute organized a scientific visit to the Directorate of Statistics in Al-Diwaniyah under the supervision of Assistant Professor Ali Mahdi Al-Dawoodi, Head of the Division; Dr. Saif Ali Jasem, Division Vice-Head; Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Saad; Assistant Lecturer Ali Samer; and Assistant Lecturer Rasha Hameed.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with key statistical concepts, particularly index numbers, and the methods for calculating weighted index numbers based on prices and quantities. The visit also included an overview of the most recent software adopted for statistical data collection and surveys.

Additionally, an agreement was reached to hold a scientific workshop at Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute in collaboration with the Directorate of Statistics, focusing on the management and collection of statistical data.
