Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute Organizes a Scientific Visit to Al-Ain Foundation for Orphan Care

The Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute, organized a scientific visit to the Al-Ain Foundation for Orphan Care. The visit was attended by Prof. Dr. Khudair Majid Alawi, Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs; Assistant Lecturer Areej Fadhel Kshash, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit; and Ms. Rehab Kareem, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit.

This visit is part of the institute’s institutional training programs aimed at enhancing practical understanding through direct engagement with community service organizations. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the operational structure, workflow, and service delivery mechanisms of the Foundation.

The team also reviewed the comprehensive care provided to orphans, including medical, social, and financial support, as well as vocational training and the provision of essential resources to improve their quality of life.

Furthermore, an agreement was reached to organize future workshops and training courses focusing on social welfare, mental health, and other topics that support the Foundation’s mission and contribute to the development of its services.
