Al-Diwaniyah Technical Institute organized a moment of silence on the morning of Sunday, 3 August 2025, in commemoration of the annual anniversary of the genocide committed against the Yazidi community on 3 August 2014. Faculty members, staff, and students of the institute participated in the observance, which included a minute of silence and the recitation of Al-Fatiha in memory of the innocent victims who lost their lives in one of the most heinous crimes against humanity.
This solemn event was held as an expression of human solidarity with the victims and their families, a remembrance of the suffering that continues to affect the survivors, and a reaffirmation of the importance of upholding the principles of peace and justice.
