Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya, Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, participated—on behalf of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi—in the reception ceremony for new international students hosted by Ferdowsi University in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The participation was in response to an official invitation extended by the President of Ferdowsi University, Dr. Abdolreza Jafari.
The ceremony was held as part of celebrating cultural diversity and strengthening scientific and civilizational ties among students from various countries around the world. The event took place at the university’s presidential building in the holy city of Mashhad and was attended by a number of academic leaders, distinguished scholars, and representatives of participating universities.
The participation emphasized the importance of strengthening international academic relations and promoting the exchange of scientific and cultural expertise among universities, contributing to the development of educational and research processes and opening new horizons for joint cooperation in higher education and scientific research.
