Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya, Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Khudair Majeed Alawi, the Head of the Construction and Projects Division, Dr. Hamid Shakir Tarrad, and a number of technical staff members, inspected the final stages of completing the building of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Technologies.
During the field tour, the Dean reviewed the achieved progress percentages and the ongoing final works, including finishes, lecture halls, specialized laboratories, and administrative offices. He emphasized the importance of adhering to technical specifications and scheduled timelines to align with the requirements of both the educational process and students’ practical training.
Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya noted that completing this building will enhance the college’s infrastructure and provide a modern learning environment that meets students’ needs, particularly in applied health specializations, stressing the college leadership’s continuous support for construction and development projects.
Meanwhile, the Head of Construction and Projects confirmed that the works are proceeding according to the planned schedule, observing the highest standards of quality and safety, in preparation for the building’s handover and commissioning in the near future.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Dean emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to complete the remaining works as quickly as possible, ensuring the achievement of the college’s academic objectives and contributing to the advancement of educational and service standards.
