As part of the activities of the Second Day of the Polytechnic Forum for Investment and Entrepreneurship 2025, held under the theme “Towards a Sustainable Entrepreneurial Environment”, the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Unit, represented by Assistant Lecturer Hassan Hadi Mashkoor, organized a voluntary tree-planting campaign both inside and outside the university campus. The initiative involved a group of college students and was conducted in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Unit, represented by Assistant Lecturer Sara Basim Abd Taher.

The campaign took place in the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya, and under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdulhussein Mohammed.

During the event, the Dean emphasized the importance of raising environmental awareness among students and instilling a culture of green initiatives as a core part of the college’s institutional identity.

The activity aimed to cultivate values of environmental responsibility and encourage students to adopt voluntary initiatives that contribute to creating a more sustainable academic and technological environment.

“We plant a tree today… to reap a more conscious and cleaner environment tomorrow.”

Tree planting represents a message of hope and a shared responsibility toward a sustainable society and a greener university campus.

Join us… together we make an impact.
