The Department of Accounting Technology at Al-Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyyah organized a scientific visit to Al-Diwaniya Dairy Factory as part of its plans to enhance students’ practical skills and connect academic curricula with real-world practices within industrial sector institutions.
The visit took place within the framework of cooperation between educational institutions and government departments. Students observed the production lines and various stages of dairy manufacturing, in addition to learning about the administrative and financial aspects applied within the factory, thereby strengthening their understanding of accounting mechanisms used in a real work environment.
The visit was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Farqad Faisal Jad’an, Head of the Department; Assistant Professor Dr. Amal Marzah Al-Khuzali; Assistant Lecturer Bushra Kazem Abdulhussein; Assistant Lecturer Iman Mahdi Muhammad; and Ms. Alaa Salem Hussein.
Factory officials provided a detailed explanation of the production processes and the sector’s importance in supporting the local economy. They also answered students’ questions regarding accounting documentation procedures, record organization, and financial controls.
This visit aligns with the college’s approach to providing an interactive educational environment that enables students to acquire practical skills, preparing them for the job market and enhancing their applied knowledge in their field of study.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed their gratitude to the management of Al-Diwaniya Dairy Factory for their warm reception and cooperation, appreciating their commitment to supporting academic programs and strengthening the partnership between both parties.
