Dr. Ali Karim Fantil, a lecturer in the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Techniques at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, participated in the 9th International Scientific Conference on Sports Sciences organized by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics and researchers from various Iraqi and Arab universities.
Dr. Ali Karim Fantil presented a research paper titled:
“Requirements for Implementing Sports Marketing at Maysan Sports Club”, which aims to propose the necessary requirements for applying sports marketing at Maysan Club by identifying several key areas, including:
- Administrative and organizational requirements, represented by the organizational structure and job descriptions of staff involved in the club’s sports marketing management.
- Human resources requirements, emphasizing the need for specialized personnel in the field of sports marketing.
- Marketing, financial, and legal requirements necessary for the implementation of sports marketing at Maysan Sports Club.
The research also addressed a set of scientific questions focusing on mechanisms to develop administrative and marketing work in sports clubs, as well as the importance of optimizing human and organizational resources.
At the conclusion of the conference, Dr. Ali Karim was awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his distinguished scientific participation and effective research contribution, reflecting the outstanding academic presence of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College faculty members in scientific forums.
