The Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology at Al-Qadisiyyah Polytechnic College organized a scientific visit for its students to the Diwaniyah Tire Factory. This visit was part of the college’s scientific activities aimed at enhancing the practical aspect of education and linking theoretical knowledge to real-world industrial practices. The visit was supervised by: Dr. Ala’a Mohammed Mohsen, Eng. Israa Abdul-Jalil Hussein, Eng. Zahraa Karim Mashi, Engineer Hamed Arheem Abdul-Hussein, and Ms. Alia Mohammed Abdul-Kazzaz.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the various stages of tire manufacturing and production lines, as well as the quality control and testing mechanisms in place, which adhere to internationally recognized standards. This contributed to deepening their practical understanding of industrial work requirements.
This visit is part of the college’s plan to develop students’ skills and prepare them for the labor market by facilitating direct exposure to industrial institutions and the work environment.
At the end of the visit, the staff of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the management and staff of the Diwaniyah Tire Factory for their warm reception, cooperation, and the comprehensive and beneficial explanations provided. They also wished the students continued success and hoped they would benefit greatly from this scientific experience.
