Lecturer Dr. Marwa Ali Ouda, a faculty member in the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Technologies at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College / Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, published a scientific research paper entitled:
“Determination of the Factors that Define the Tropism of Astroviruses in Established Cell Lines”
in the
Scientific Research Journal of Agriculture and Life Sciences,
which is a peer-reviewed and indexed scientific journal issued under the Open Access system.
The research addressed the study of factors that determine the ability of astroviruses to infect different cell lines, highlighting the mechanisms of viral replication and the stages of viral entry into cells, due to their importance in understanding viral diseases associated with the digestive system, especially in children.
This research represents an important scientific addition that contributes to supporting the research process and reflects the commitment of the college’s researchers to keeping pace with scientific developments and publishing their research output in reputable international journals.
