The Department of Community Health Technologies at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College organized a workshop entitled “The Importance of Plant Extracts in Medical and Scientific Research,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Massar Jabbar Jari, Head of the Department, and Assistant Lecturer Ayman Rashad Ayal.
The workshop covered the following topics:
- The role of plant extracts in medical applications, such as antimicrobial and antioxidant activities.
- The importance of extracts in the discovery of new drugs, as well as laboratory and clinical studies.
- Different methods for extracting plant extracts.
The workshop also emphasized that plant extracts represent a bridge between traditional and modern medicine, highlighting the importance of integrating them into modern medical applications in a scientific and reliable manner.
