The Department of Business Administration at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College organized a scientific visit for first-year students to the Diwaniyah Textile Factory, as part of the academic activities aimed at enhancing the integration between theoretical and practical knowledge.

The visit aimed to introduce students to the industrial work environment and familiarize them with the processes of production operations. Additionally, students gained insight into management practices such as planning, organizing, leadership, and controlling, as well as concepts of resource management and quality management within production institutions.

Students also learned about the importance of the supply chain and its role in supporting operational efficiency and achieving the strategic objectives of industrial organizations, and its impact on enhancing institutional performance.

The visit was supervised by Lecturer Wissam Abdul-Kadhim, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Jassem Karim, Assistant Lecturer Sara Aliwi Abu-Soda, Ms. Iman Jihad, and Ms. Hiyaam Saleh.

This initiative is part of the college’s effort to develop students’ fundamental managerial skills, enhance their understanding of labor market requirements, and build a knowledge base that will contribute to their future professional preparation.
