The Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiyah, visited the Al-Diwaniyah Provincial Council, where he was received by the President of the Provincial Council, Engineer Mohammed Shukair Al-Ghanami, in the presence of Council members Mr. Abbas Jaber Matuwi, Mr. Khudair Al-Miyahi, and Ms. Raghad Al-Aradhi.
During the meeting, ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Provincial Council and academic institutions were discussed, in a manner that contributes to supporting the educational process and developing the scientific and technical aspects in the province. The discussion also addressed the reality of technical education and the needs of the College, the importance of linking educational outputs to the labor market, as well as supporting students and providing an appropriate environment to advance the academic level.
The President of the Council, Engineer Mohammed Shukair Al-Ghanami, affirmed the Council’s keenness to support universities and technical colleges due to their effective role in preparing qualified cadres that contribute to serving the community and driving the wheel of development in Al-Diwaniyah Province.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the President and members of the Provincial Council for the warm reception and cooperation, emphasizing the importance of continuing joint coordination in a way that serves the educational process and contributes to the development of the scientific and technical reality in the province.
