Under the patronage of the Dean of the Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah, Prof. Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahieh, and under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdulhussein Mohammed, and with the follow-up of the Student Activities Division represented by Assistant Lecturer Rasha Hussein Ahmed and Assistant Lecturer Zaid Mohammed Kadhim, the Ramadan Professors’ Seven-a-Side Football Championship was officially launched on the college’s sports field.
The championship is organized by the Student Activities Division of the college and features the participation of several teams representing various government institutions.
This tournament aims to strengthen cooperation and communication among government institutions, in addition to promoting sportsmanship and encouraging physical activity, particularly during the atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadan.
The opening of the championship was attended by a number of staff members, alongside the participating teams that delivered matches characterized by enthusiasm and a high level of sportsmanship, creating a distinctive competitive atmosphere.
The tournament competitions will continue over the coming days on the college’s field, with several matches scheduled between the participating teams, leading up to the final match in which the winning team will be crowned champion of the tournament.
