The Department of Insurance Technologies at the Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a scientific visit for second-year morning study students to the Al-Diwaniyah Gas Plant, affiliated with the Ministry of Oil, accompanied by a number of faculty members. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the practical aspects of production and marketing processes within the plant.
During the visit, the students observed the production lines for filling and maintaining gas cylinders, in addition to learning about the safety and insurance procedures implemented at the facility to ensure that gas cylinders reach consumers in accordance with the approved standards.
The visit emphasized the importance of strengthening students’ applied knowledge and linking theoretical learning with practical experience, which contributes to developing their scientific skills and providing them with valuable field experience that prepares them for the labor market.
The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturers Ali Samer Yousif, Hadeel Mohammed Numan, Hassan Hadi Mashkoor, Zahraa Saad Jassim, and Rasha Hameed Nima.
This visit comes as part of the college’s continuous efforts to support the educational process and enhance students’ skills through organizing scientific visits and practical activities that enrich their practical experience.
