Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahya, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Technologies organized a scientific competition for second-stage evening students in the subject of “Manufacture of Above-Knee Orthoses.” The event was held under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Thanaa Ismail Jawad, Head of the Department, alongside Engineer Ali Salem Hamza and Mrs. Risala Shaker Abed.

The competition featured various questions covering the course syllabus, held in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and positive competitive spirit among the students. The event also included the distribution of symbolic gifts to the winning students as an incentive for their excellence and diligence.

This initiative is part of the college deanship’s and department’s commitment to providing psychological and moral support to students, boosting their self-confidence, and encouraging perseverance in their academic pursuits, thereby contributing to a motivating and integrated educational environment.

At the conclusion of the competition, the students expressed their appreciation for the faculty’s efforts in supporting and motivating them, emphasizing the importance of continuing such activities that combine academic benefits with purposeful engagement.
