The National Reviewers Team and the Institutional Accreditation Council continued their evaluation activities at Al-Qadisiyah Technical College, a constituent of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. The visit is part of the ongoing process to enhance quality requirements and assess the college’s readiness for institutional accreditation.
For the second time, the visiting team included Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Shanawa and Assistant Professor Dr. Samar Sami Hammadi. They were received by the Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Technical College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiah, along with the vice-deans, heads of scientific departments, unit heads, and several staff members.
The visit program featured extensive field tours throughout the college, including scientific departments, training workshops, and educational laboratories. The goal was to review the implementation levels of quality standards and academic accreditation requirements within the educational and research environments.
Furthermore, the team visited the student dormitories (for both male and female students) to inspect the services provided, as well as the student center to discuss aspects of creating a supportive university environment. During the tour, the team listened to students’ opinions and feedback regarding the educational process and university services.
The committee members praised the college’s commitment to academic quality, the continuous development of infrastructure, and the organized workflow within the scientific and administrative departments. They emphasized that the efforts observed represent a significant step toward fulfilling institutional accreditation requirements.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Deanship of Al-Qadisiyah Technical College reaffirmed its ongoing dedication to implementing the university’s vision of developing the educational environment, updating programs, and providing the best means to ensure the advancement of academic and administrative performance in line with national quality standards
