As part of the efforts of Al-Qadisiyah Technical College at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University to enhance its quality system and academic standards, the college received the ministerial committee specialized in monitoring institutional accreditation standards. The committee was headed by Professor Dr. Haider Naji Ayiz, with Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Jabbar as a member.
The committee was welcomed by the Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Technical College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiah, along with the vice-deans, heads of scientific departments, administrative units, and several faculty and technical staff members.
The visit included a field tour of several classrooms, scientific laboratories, student dormitories, and various scientific and administrative units. The objective was to review the procedures implemented for quality requirements and assess the college’s readiness to meet institutional accreditation standards.
Furthermore, the committee audited quality assurance documentation and institutional performance reports. Discussions also focused on continuous development mechanisms, ways to enhance the educational environment, and updating academic programs in alignment with national standards.
The ministerial committee expressed its appreciation for the efforts exerted at Al-Qadisiyah Technical College, praising the level of administrative organization, the upkeep of laboratories and infrastructure, and the commitment to documenting and continuously updating quality procedures. The committee noted that the achieved indicators reflect the college’s serious commitment to enhancing performance efficiency and moving steadily toward institutional accreditation.
The College Deanship reaffirmed its dedication to providing an integrated university environment that supports the educational process and enhances student services. It noted that this visit is a key part of the college’s plans to develop academic and administrative performance and fulfill comprehensive quality requirements
