In collaboration with the Technological Incubator and Ecosystem Unit, the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technologies at the Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College—a constituent of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University—organized a training workshop titled: “Employing the Potential of Final-Year Students and Graduates in the Labor Market.”
The workshop was presented by Lecturer Suhair Ghazi Mahdi and Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Karim Mashi, with the participation of a diverse group of students.
Objectives of the Workshop
The primary goal of the session was to enhance students’ professional skills and bolster their readiness for the workforce. This was achieved by:
• Highlighting essential professional skills required in the engineering and technical sectors.
• Introducing methods for building a professional identity and self-marketing.
