The Women’s Affairs Unit at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, a constituent of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a training workshop titled “Soft Skills and Building Women’s Leadership Personality.” This initiative aligns with the implementation of the Third National Plan for Iraqi Women (Prevention Pillar / Second Paragraph), held in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Al-Qadisiyah, where the event took place.

The workshop featured sessions led by lecturers: Mr. Zaid Kadhim Katouf, Mr. Ameer Mohammed Abbas, Ms. Zainab Jassim, and Ms. Zainab Zamat Hamza. They covered multiple themes focused on developing the personal and professional capabilities of women.

The workshop aimed to empower women and enhance their leadership potential by developing essential soft skills that contribute to success on both personal and professional levels. Key topics included effective communication, building self-confidence, time management, teamwork, as well as problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Furthermore, the sessions highlighted the importance of emotional intelligence in leadership and the necessity of navigating various challenges with flexibility and confidence, thereby enhancing a woman’s ability to have a positive impact on her surroundings.

This workshop is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to support and empower women, contributing to the preparation of female leaders capable of achieving excellence and sustainability in various fields of life and work.
