The Department of Accounting Technologies at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College organized a scientific visit to the Diwaniyah Dairy Factory. This initiative is part of the department’s plans to enhance the practical skills of students and link academic curricula with real-world applications within industrial sector institutions.

The visit took place within the framework of cooperation between educational institutions and state departments. Students observed the production lines and various stages of dairy manufacturing processes, and gained insights into the administrative and financial systems adopted within the factory. This experience aims to deepen their understanding of the accounting mechanisms utilized in a real working environment.

The visit was conducted under the supervision of Professor Dr. Khudair Majid Allawi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Farqad Faisal Jadaan, Head of the Department; Assistant Professor Dr. Amal Marza Al-Khuzai; Assistant Professor Dr. Shaimaa Nehru Jabal; Assistant Lecturer Bushra Kadhim Abdul-Hussein; Ms. Iman Mahdi; and Ms. Israa Abdul-Kadhim.

Factory officials provided a detailed explanation of the production operations and the importance of this sector in supporting the local economy. They also addressed students’ inquiries regarding accounting documentation procedures, record-keeping, and financial regulations.

This visit reflects the college’s commitment to providing an interactive learning environment that enables students to acquire practical skills, preparing them for the labor market and developing their applied knowledge in their field of specialization.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed their gratitude to the management of the Diwaniyah Dairy Factory for their warm reception and cooperation, appreciating their dedication to supporting academic programs and strengthening the partnership between the two sides.
