The Department of Radiology and Sonar Techniques at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College organized a scientific visit to the Nursing Home in Al-Diwaniyah Province. The visit was conducted under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Afrah Abdul-Wahid Habib, Head of the Department, along with Dr. Amir Abdul-Kadhim Ouda, Lecturer Ashwaq Abdul-Sada Kadhim, Asst. Lecturer Anwar Najm Abd-Ali, Asst. Lecturer Shahad Ahmed Bakhit, and Asst. Lecturer Marwan Jaber Matroud.
Objectives of the Visit
The visit aimed to achieve several key goals:
• Practical Application: Enhancing the practical side of the students’ education by bridging the gap between theoretical study and field experience.
• Clinical Awareness: Providing students with a first-hand look at the specific healthcare needs of the elderly and the medical services required to improve their daily quality of life.
