The Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Techniques at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, a constituent of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a training course titled: “Analyzing the Role of Technology in Improving Healthcare and Patient Monitoring.” The course featured lectures by Assistant Professor Dr. Nawfal Salih Dakhel, Head of the Department, and Assistant Lecturer Muyassar Ialan Abbas. The sessions covered multiple themes focused on employing modern technologies to develop health services and enhance the quality of patient care.
The course aimed to highlight the significance of integrating technology into the healthcare sector, particularly in remote patient monitoring, health data analysis, and the use of smart devices for continuous health tracking. These advancements contribute to reducing medical errors and elevating the efficiency of healthcare performance.
Furthermore, the course included a review of the most prominent modern applications and systems adopted in hospitals and health centers, explaining their role in supporting nursing staff and empowering them to perform their duties with greater proficiency.
This initiative is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to keep pace with technological advancements and enhance the skills of both students and staff, aligning with the evolving requirements of the labor market in the healthcare sector.
