A delegation of faculty members and students from Al-Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah, Department of Medical Rehabilitation Techniques and Physiotherapy, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Nawfal Saleh Dakhel, Head of the Department, conducted a scientific visit to Al-Raja Institute for Disabilities. The visit aimed to strengthen academic and professional cooperation between educational institutions and specialized rehabilitation centers.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed the institute’s workflow, as well as the rehabilitation and medical services provided to persons with disabilities. They were also introduced to the therapeutic programs adopted by the institute and the mechanisms for implementing individual and group rehabilitation plans.

The visit provided students with a valuable field-based learning opportunity, allowing them to observe rehabilitation practices directly and link theoretical knowledge with practical application in a real work environment, thereby enhancing their skills and professional experience.

The delegation praised the organizational level and the quality of services provided at the institute, emphasizing the importance of such scientific visits in developing students’ competencies and broadening their professional perspectives.

The two sides also stressed the importance of maintaining communication and coordination to further develop rehabilitation programs and exchange academic and practical expertise. They highlighted the need to support and activate future joint cooperation through organizing scientific activities and regular visits that serve the educational and rehabilitation process.
