The Department of Nursing Techniques at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a scientific workshop titled “Nursing Care for Parasitic Patients.”
The workshop covered a scientific introduction to parasites, their various types, and modes of transmission. It also highlighted the nurse’s role in caring for patients with different parasitic infections, as well as the importance of adhering to preventive and nursing procedures to limit their spread.
The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thana Ismael Jawad and Asst. Lect. Wiam Abbas Hamad, who reviewed important scientific and practical topics aimed at raising students’ awareness and enhancing their skills in handling such health cases.
This workshop is part of the college’s ongoing scientific activities aimed at developing the scientific and practical skills of students, and providing them with modern knowledge in the nursing field to contribute to preparing competent health cadres.
