Under the patronage of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Student Activities Division at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College participated in the University Festival of Literary Arts. The festival was organized by the Student Activities Department at the Technical Institute of Babylon, with wide participation from students across the university’s formations as part of its annual curriculum for the second semester.
The festival featured various activities, including a photography exhibition, as well as multiple cultural and artistic events such as competitions in master of ceremonies, recitation, public speaking, chanting, classical poetry, and photography, reflecting the students’ outstanding talents and creativity.
The participants from the college included Asst. Lect. Rasha Hussein Ahmed (Head of the Student Activities Division), Mr. Mahmoud Alaiwi, Mr. Sajjad Kittab, and several college students.
In the public speaking category, student Mohammed Hussein Saleh achieved third place, adding a new accomplishment to the college’s record of distinguished participation in student activities.
The festival witnessed a lively atmosphere and positive interaction from the attendees, including the taking of commemorative photos to document this special cultural event. It represented a bright milestone embodying Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University’s commitment to supporting creativity, nurturing student capacities, and enhancing its presence as an academic institution that combines scientific excellence with cultural activities.
