Institute Overview:

Al-Diwaniyah Institute of Technology is one of the establishments under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Technical Education Authority / Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. The institute was established in 1988 and is located at the end of Al-Zaytoon Street, next to the Al-Diwaniyah Industrial High School. The institute includes eleven scientific divisions, including:

Seven medical divisions
Three administrative divisions
One technological division

The institute aims to prepare technical staffs in the fields of technology, administration, and medicine, qualified to serve as middle-level personnel in various sectors. This is achieved through providing technical education that enhances the target group’s skills and competencies, both in terms of quality and quantity, to keep pace with scientific and technological advancements.

This division encompasses the Production branch. It was established in 1999 and currently includes 62 male and female students.

The administrative divisions at the institute include:

Division of Materials Management Techniques
