The Objective:
The student will learn about the cells and tissues that compose the human body. The student will be able to use modern technologies, including medical and laboratory devices necessary for forensic evidence detection. The division aims to develop the technical and administrative competencies in forensic laboratories to keep pace with recent developments and technologies, and to benefit from various scientific and practical experiences. The student will acquire skills related to the crime scene, including the criminal traces of incidents and how to document them. The student will be familiar with the principles of first aid and its methods and applications. The student will develop proficiency in using cameras and the necessary equipment for forensic photography. The student will master how to take fingerprints and palm prints from the crime scene, preserve them, and perform related practices in the laboratory. The student will learn how to detect counterfeit currency, examine documents, and inspect official books. The student will become acquainted with the key techniques used in drug and toxicology investigations and how to write related reports. The student will have knowledge of explosive materials, their types, and the methods used to extinguish fires.
