The Objective: The Mechanical Division was established in 1989 and initially included only the Textile Branch. Over time, the department evolved, with an increase in the number of accepted students as well as teaching and technical staff. This led to the closure of the Textile Branch and the establishment of the Maintenance and Operations Branch, followed by the opening of the Production Branch in 1999. The department aims to provide the governorate with skilled technical personnel capable of operating, producing, and maintaining equipment. The Mechanical Department is equipped with several workshops and laboratories where students receive hands-on training.
The Vision: To prepare personnel who serve as a link between specialization and skilled labor, providing graduates with theoretical, practical, and applied knowledge based on market needs and local employers’ requirements, while ensuring they are capable of adapting to advancements in mechanical sciences.
The Mission: To deliver high-quality, competent, and distinguished mechanical education that is responsive to changes and developments in the field. The department aims to expand its capacity to meet market demands and ensure the education aligns with industry needs.
