The unit is committed to delivering training, guidance, academic and psychological counseling programs, supporting high-achieving students, and recognizing and nurturing individual differences.✔ Goals
- Monitor student issues and provide appropriate solutions in collaboration with the educational counselor.
- Address unacceptable behaviors, raise awareness, and encourage and highlight individual initiatives.
- Implement annual programs to support high-achieving students and monitor cases of absence or academic delay.
- Participate in community activities and preventive programs.
📝 Tasks
- Address absenteeism and tardiness, identify causes, and implement central directives if issues persist.
- Collaborate with Middle Euphrates Technical University, other universities, and Iraqi institutes to host expert lecturers in human development.
- Develop preventive and remedial guidance programs for talented, high-achieving, and special needs students.
📅 Annual Unit Plan
- Assign stage mentors according to the academic departments in the institute.
- Hold regular meetings with first- and second-year students.
- Conduct regular meetings with faculty representatives via Google Meet.
- Weekly follow-ups with faculty committee members to enhance communication with students.
- Coordinate with faculty representatives to resolve obstacles reported by students.
