Quality Assurance Unit

The Quality Assurance Unit is an organizational unit within educational institutions and companies, aimed at ensuring that products or services meet established quality standards, enhancing customer confidence, and improving operational efficiency. The unit is responsible for developing plans and programs designed to achieve quality in education and performance within the institution.

Job Responsibilities

Regularly follow up on the evaluation files of academic departments according to the performance measurement axes for colleges and institutes issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Monitor the improvement plans prepared by academic departments and follow up on their implementation.
Track the publication of links that contribute to the development of teaching and learning processes.
Oversee technical details related to implementing the college’s quality policy and supervise its execution, as approved by the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department at the University Presidency.
Develop and implement quality plans and programs at the college level in alignment with university-wide quality policies.
Monitor the application and evaluation of quality and performance standards set by the Ministry and the university, through visits conducted by the Quality Assurance Division, identifying weaknesses in quality and encouraging their improvement.
Continuously improve the scientific and administrative performance of all staff and activities through discussion sessions, workshops, and training programs.
Create an appropriate administrative, scientific, and educational environment for staff and students to enhance quality, ultimately achieving academic accreditation.
Ensure the realization of the college’s vision, mission, and objectives, providing related performance indicators.
Promote a culture of quality among faculty, students, and staff through seminars, workshops, posters, and teaching tools.
Encourage faculty members to publish in international journals (Scopus, Clarivate) and join Google Scholar.
Support academic departments in achieving program accreditation according to scientific disciplines.
Measure feedback through periodic surveys of educational process stakeholders (faculty and students).
Audit all documentation related to the Academic Departments Evaluation Forms.
Implement the strategic plan for quality assurance across its five axes.
Prepare standardized CV templates for faculty in Arabic and English.
Design surveys: student feedback on courses, instructors, employer feedback, faculty feedback, and graduate feedback.
Ensure comprehensive publication on the college website: weekly schedules, student projects, educational materials, faculty CVs, scientific research, student feedback, and each department’s vision, mission, and objectives.
