The Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah organizes a scientific visit to Water Treatment Project No. (6).

As part of the scientific and practical activities of the Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah, the Department of Community Health Technologies, under the supervision of
(Asst. Prof. Dr. Masar Jabbar Jari, Head of the Department; Asst. Lecturer Malath Ismail Youssef; Asst. Lecturer Dr. Raghda Saad Mohammed; and Asst. Lecturer Inaam Mohammed Abd Al-Hassan),
organized a scientific visit to Water Treatment Project No. (6). The visit aimed to observe the physical, chemical, and biological stages involved in drinking water treatment, starting from water intake from the river up to the final pumping stage.

This visit forms part of the practical curriculum of the Environmental Health course for second-year students, with the goal of linking theoretical concepts to practical application and enhancing students’ understanding of water purification mechanisms in accordance with health standards.

The delegation was received by Engineer Mohammed Mahdi Saleh, the project director, along with Engineer Wafaa Ali Abdul-Ridha and Engineer Zina Falah Kalif, who provided a detailed explanation of the operational stages within the facility.
