Under the guidance of Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiya, Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Technologies organized an educational visit to the Ibn Al-Bitar Specialized Center for Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Nawfal Saleh Dakhel, Head of the Department, accompanied by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Marwa Ali Ouda, and with the participation of a number of department students.
The visit aimed to enhance students’ practical skills, familiarize them with the latest methods and equipment used in medical rehabilitation and physiotherapy, and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice.
During the visit, the delegation toured the center’s various departments, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and motor rehabilitation units. The center’s specialized staff provided detailed explanations about operational procedures, diagnostic and treatment methods, and presented case studies along with the approaches used in their rehabilitation.
Students expressed great benefit from the visit, noting that it provided valuable practical insights that helped them connect their theoretical studies with real-world clinical practice.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Head of the Department and the supervising staff extended their sincere thanks and appreciation to the administration and staff of the Ibn Al-Bitar Specialized Center for Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy for their warm reception and fruitful cooperation in making the educational visit a success.
