Honorable Members of the Iraqi Parliament,
Peace be upon you, and may God’s mercy and blessings be upon you.
In light of the academic integrity and administrative responsibility entrusted to us at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, we present this urgent appeal to you, hopeful for your esteemed role in ensuring justice for the builders of academic institutions.
We respectfully urge the Cabinet to reconsider the decision to withhold university service allowances from administrative and technical staff. We also call upon the esteemed representatives of the people in Parliament to fulfill their constitutional and oversight duties to support this vital matter. These staff members are the backbone upon which technical and academic education rests, and without their psychological and financial stability, the wheels of progress and development will falter.
The withholding of these entitlements places significant pressure on the families of employees who have dedicated themselves to serving our universities. We view your intervention to restore these rights as a paternal and responsible gesture that upholds the values of occupational justice and promotes the stability of our educational institutions in our beloved Iraq.
We have full confidence in your high regard for the welfare of your citizens, and in your capacity to make the decisions necessary to restore rights to their rightful owners, ensuring the continued contributions and excellence of our institutions.
