Based on the directives of the Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiyah, and with the beginning of the second semester, the Department of Radiology and Sonar Technologies held a meeting for the teaching staff of the Department.
The meeting was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Afrah Abdulwahid Habib, Head of the Department, and attended by Assistant Lecturer Suhad Abdulhussein Salman, Department Rapporteur, and members of the Department Council.
The meeting discussed the scientific and practical agenda in light of the directives of the University Presidency and the College Deanship. The discussion addressed the preparation of the study plan for the second semester, matters related to students, scientific lectures, the movement of scientific research, in addition to departmental activities.
The meeting also included a discussion of the mechanism for preparing examination questions and organizing examinations in accordance with the approved instructions and regulations, in a manner that ensures fairness and accuracy in assessing students’ performance.
Emphasis was placed on the importance of giving due attention to the Department’s scientific laboratories and preparing all appropriate conditions for students within the laboratories, given their essential role in strengthening the practical aspect of the educational process.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Head of the Department urged the teaching staff to exert maximum efforts to advance the academic level and to serve the College’s esteemed students.
