Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College held a religious and cultural event on the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiyah, heads of scientific departments, a number of staff members, and a group of students.

The event included the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs, in commemoration of the values of sacrifice and selflessness and in reinforcement of the spiritual and human dimension within the university environment.

The event also featured the recitation of several poetic works by poets and students, embodying meanings of loyalty and love for Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), in addition to the chanting of religious slogans expressing joy on this blessed occasion, in a faith-filled atmosphere that resonated with the attendees.

The program included the presentation of a theatrical performance entitled “Moral Obstacles,” which addressed a set of ethical and behavioral values through an artistic and awareness-raising approach that reflects the role of art in enhancing societal awareness among students.

The event was organized with the participation of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy / First Stage, and in cooperation with the Sanabel Al-Amal Team affiliated with the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine – Jawad Al-Aqmar Al-Sha‘bani Procession, within the framework of strengthening joint cooperation and commemorating religious occasions with educational and cultural significance.

This event is part of a series of activities that Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College is keen to organize, aiming to promote moral and human values and to reinforce the spirit of belonging and religious and national identity among students.
