The Department of Nursing Technologies at the College of Polytechnic – Al-Qadisiyah, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, held a scientific seminar entitled (Blood Glucose and Lipid Analysis with Practical Steps and Interpretation of Results), delivered by Assistant Professor Ghanem Owaiz, Head of the Department, and Assistant Lecturer Omaima Majeed Murad.
The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of laboratory tests for measuring blood glucose and lipid levels and their role in supporting clinical diagnosis and monitoring medical conditions in accordance with well-established scientific principles.
The seminar included the following themes:
- Understanding the scientific principle of blood glucose and lipid analysis.
- Performing laboratory analysis procedures accurately in accordance with approved scientific protocols.
- Interpreting results based on recognized normal reference values.
- Correlating laboratory results with the patient’s clinical condition.
This seminar forms part of the scientific activities that the College is keen to organize, contributing to the development of professional skills and the enhancement of the practical aspect in the health field.
