Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Technical College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiah, the Deanship of Al-Qadisiyah Technical College—a constituent of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University—organized a training course titled “Professional Etiquette.” The session was conducted by certified trainer Musaddaq Al-Tamimi, a member of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, in the presence of Dean Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiah, along with several faculty members and technical staff.
The course aimed to promote a culture of professional etiquette and enhance workplace conduct based on professional standards that contribute to building a disciplined and collaborative work environment. Key topics included: charismatic traits, influential personality skills, communication etiquette, establishing a proper professional impression, and maintaining professionalism within the workplace.
In his opening remarks, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahiah emphasized the importance of consolidating the principles of professional etiquette within educational institutions. He stated that adhering to professional conduct reflects the institution’s identity and fosters a spirit of cooperation and harmony among employees, which positively impacts performance quality and the achievement of institutional goals.
The course also featured practical applications regarding communication skills, body language management, and handling daily workplace pressures. Additionally, it included discussions on real-world examples highlighting the impact of professional behavior on developing workplace relationships.
The program concluded with the distribution of participation certificates to the attendees in recognition of their commitment and active engagement, underscoring the importance of applying these acquired skills to improve the quality of interaction and communication within the college.
