College Media Representative
Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, Professor Dr. Zaki Mohammed Abbas Bahieh, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Techniques organized a volunteering campaign to plant a number of saplings within the university campus. The initiative was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Thana Ismail Jawad (Head of the Department), Assistant Lecturer Haider Elan Abbas, Assistant Lecturer Ranin Muwaffaq, and Assistant Lecturer Thamer Abdul-Amir, with the active participation of department students.
The campaign aims to increase green spaces within the college, improve the university environment, and promote a culture of interest in agriculture and tree preservation. Such efforts play a vital role in air purification and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the campus, which positively impacts the educational environment.
The activities included planting various types of saplings in several locations across the college, as well as preparing the soil and providing necessary plant care supplies to ensure healthy growth.
Participants emphasized the importance of these initiatives in fostering the spirit of volunteerism and a sense of belonging to the educational institution, noting that such activities contribute to creating a healthy and sustainable university environment
