The Women’s Affairs Unit at the Polytechnic College – Al-Qadisiyah, in cooperation with the Information Technology Division, organized a seminar titled “Your Gateway to E-Commerce with Confidence and Security.” The event was held in alignment with the National Strategy to Combat Violence Against Women and Girls, specifically focusing on the protection and prevention pillar. The sessions were delivered by Assistant Lecturers Saadia Kumail, Nada Taher, and Ibtisam Muhsin.
The training course aimed to introduce participants to the concept of e-commerce and its significance in the digital era. It highlighted the essential steps for successfully launching and managing online projects, including selecting appropriate products or services, digital marketing, online store management, and payment and shipping mechanisms.
Additionally, the course emphasized the critical importance of cybersecurity, protecting personal and financial data, maintaining secure customer interactions, and managing electronic transactions. It also addressed the most prominent challenges and risks in the field, along with effective methods to mitigate them.
The course concluded by reinforcing that success in e-commerce demands solid planning, the acquisition of digital skills, and fostering customer loyalty through credibility, quality, and robust security.
