Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College is one of the newly established colleges affiliated with Al-Furat Al-AwsatTechnical University under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Technical Education Authority. The college was originally founded as an institute in 1988 and was later developed into a college to meet the increasing demands of the labor market and to cope with the rapid advancements in technical and vocational education.
The college is located in Al-Diwaniyah and includes eleven scientific departments, consisting of:
